Saw a couple ducks the other day......just a couple. The pictures really don't do the situation justice. Not one bit. You can't capture in a frame how many birds I saw! Talk about a great hunt, and what I would call, a once in a lifetime experience!

In the landscape pictures, the first picture is the photo as a whole, then the second is a zoom out of that picture. Then, another picture as a whole, and then another zoom. I've got a LOT of photos that have WAAAAY more ducks in them than what you see here, but they are just black specks all over the sky.

:whiteflag: It is all over man. It was not anything like that the VERY next day. :whiteflag: I was warned that would happen, and the warning was correct.

That's what makes it so great though, that it was just a one time deal. Makes you appreciate days like that even more.

I LOVED getting to work my calls. You know it really didn't matter, I could have just been saying, "Quack quack" at them, but it was still awesome having them look, and then lock up and commit.

This new single reed I am playing with takes more air to run, but I really like the sound of it. :cheers:

I think it would be a conservative estimate to say I had 1,000 birds look at my decoys. :claphands: I don't know how many committed. A few hundred anyways.

I don't know how many thousands were on that water hole. It was not like anything I had ever seen.

Those would be acrylic VECtor barrels turned by yours truly. The orange call is topped with an ECHO double reed insert, and the green call is topped with an ECHO single reed insert.

And they are hanging from an Ozark Mountain Lanyard! :banana-man-yeah:
