Went to fire my cva yesterday and the firing pen would not set off the primer. The plate that is suppose to stay up between the pin and hammer is dropping.when its fired. Doesent look like i can get in there work on it. Think i need to send it in.

No clue on how to fix your problem since I'm a Knight fan. I do know after about 15 or 20 rounds my 209 primer holder gets a slight ridge of soot around where it is held in place and the rolling block will not fit tight enough to set off the primer. I have to take my knife and scrape off the burnt powder and she is good to go. Sounds like you may have a similar problem....good luck.

Yes, send it in. Had you taken it apart?

Nope never taken it apart. Must be something broke or loose inside. If I turn the gun upside down it works.
