I prefer CCI for metalic cartridges. If you stick with one of the four major brands, CCI, Federal, Remington, Winchester, you can expect reasonable results.

For economy I use Noble Sport primers for my clay target shotshells. Heavy loads for turkey and waterfowl, I buy off the shelf.

What Mule said X2. Mostly I use CCI for smokeless and Federal 215 Magnum primers for BPC.

Here letely, I've had to use whatever was available. Usually only use CCI myself.

i'm equal oppertunity. mostly use winchester large and remington small but have a ton fo what i could pick up now honestly, havn't seen a big varience in performance between the big name primers.
