In all the times I've been in the woods I have only seen one bobcat face to face. 9am I'm sitting in a tree listening to all the feathered and furry critters in the woods around me. Then I realized that everything was deathly quiet all around me. About 40 yards away I catch movement. Ever so quiet a good sized bobcat is slowly walking on the crunchy leaves in the woods. Not a sound anywhere around me. He walks up a log and stops at its highest peak and looks all around. I am motionless in my tree as the whole woods that surround me is deafly quiet. Just as quiet he turns around on the log and ever so slowly walks back down the log and back in the timber that he silently emerged from minutes before. Once out of sight the birds start singing and the squirrels start coming out from their hiding places. Truly a ghost of the woods.

Very cool picture. I saw a bobcat last weekend. This morning I had two go by me playing. I am lucky to see one a year let alone 3.

I've shot 2 and seen three in my life. Kill them all, they are flat out killers.

Not playing. The squirrel once removed a thorn from the cats paw . The cat now carries the squirrel around by the nape of the neck when it gets tired. The animals all live in peace and harmony living on tofu made from non GMO soybeans.

I love calling and killing bobcats! We call several every year. Contrary to popular opinion, bobcats aren't all that bright.

Dumb as a box of rocks and a ton of em out there. There’s just scared of everything that moves. It ain’t called being a pu$$ say for nothing.

Had three walk under me bowhunting in Mo a few years ago. Killed a few in Mo over the years. Big one in Henry county with a rifle. Couple kittens we thought were squirrels with a shotgun in Mississippi county. One with a rifle in Bollinger county. Killed a ton in Arkansas, most with a hickory limb while they were wearing steel jewelry. One with a muzzleloader. Still need to kill one with a bow tho.
