Wow... they are nasty
Yes they are, not to mention that they're capable of carrying leprosy wore gloves, threw gloves away later.
Id have used gasoline and a match and left the trap...
Rubber gloves and a .22 bullet are cheap and cannot start forest fires.
Still a risk of leprosy... Id rather take a risk of a fire than have my fingers fall off....
You probably got it.
Can I have your guns and traps ?
Trapping isn't for "everyone", some folks just can't handle it.
Sure, come on and pick'em up. You might as well buy me a beer since I won't be able to hold one for long.
Heck. I will bring you a 6 pack and a pocket full of straws.
I have a big owl that keeps killing my chickens, i know i can not kill it cause it’s protected, is there away to legally catch it in live trap if so how would that be done lol, any info welcome
If you can hack being a lepper, have at it.... HA!!
Won't be a leper, thus the rubber gloves. As I said, (so much for being PC) trapping ain't for sissies.
My guess is that I actually won't catch it but you're welcome to bring the six pack and we can drink it and talk trapping and how it helps the other wildlife populations. (I'll just keep my stuff for now though)
What are you going to do with it after you live trap it, take it a few miles away and release it?
I do have some ideas on how to get it trapped but it will require some minor engineering. Owls disappear all the time.....just saying.
The least you could do is send me home with an old Rusty single spring number 2 .
Likely wouldnt be a lepper anyway as 95% of humans are genetically immune at this point. Just another example of a disease running its course and leaving a stronger population in its wake.
mdc employs specialist whose job it is to handle just situations. It is not something you have to live with.
I am I the only one who thought S S S
No. Your the only one who forgot what the third S stands for.
Ended the season and pulled traps.
14 coons 13 possums 2 stinkers 3 coyotes and 2 bobcats.
Coon catch down from last year, possum catch way down. More coyotes and cats, but trapped more and improved my game. I don't think the possums refilled vary fast.
Trapping is fun, I think it helps the hatch. I know it protects my feed sacks, the reason I started trapping.
