Ditto on the powder. 777 is one that works great.

I use 777 pellets out of mine and its dead on with iron sights as far as I care to shoot. You can get more precise with loose powder tho like others have said. I just like the convenience of the pellets. Put em in your pocket and go.

i got some pyrodex p loose im gonna try and some triple 7 pellets i put a 4-12x40 swift premier on my knight and want 2 get a 100 yd zero

i do know that i compared 777 pellets with some other pellets last year and the other pellets were more accurate shot 777 primers and had a bunch that wouldnt fire im using cci primers and never had one that wouldnt fire the other pellets were made by hodgdon also

The problem w/pellets (other than price) is that you can not fine tune a load. You're stuck with whatever grain load that 2 or 3 pellets equal. Takes all the fun outa working up a load that is best in a paticular gun.

ok boys jus got back from shootn the knight hope you can read my sribbles there were no targets so i had to shoot up a piece of cardboard im impressed with the knight these shots were at 100yds i had some 300 gr. deerslayers and some hornady xtp 250 gr. i used 777 pellets and pyrodex p powder

was faster at the range because your measuring each load, but it's not any faster when hunting, i can load my encore in less than a minute with a speedload, add another 3 seconds if i swab the barrel
