whats your alls input here, i am currently working on building 3 at a friends leather shop, we are laying it out for everything, using elastic loops and leather loops, the elastic i think will perform better on the speedloads, the leather will grip the jag/measure/ball starter better
also has a pocket for a camera and a range finder
still in design phase though
also need beaver pelts, im going to cover the leather in beaver pelt

looked at this 1 and it's kind shaped the same way, but with a few more features
what ya'll think, give me some added ideas

Man its funny you posted this.I'm in the middle of making a belt bag right now.Not having much luck with the thread I have. The ones I made in the past had the Short starter loop on the outside, a small bag for my balls(no jokes please)hanging on the outside, a pocket inside for a couple tubes with measured powder in them a nipple wrench and what not, a bigger pocket for a range finder and the rest was open for everything else I brought.I like the idea of having a pocket for your camera too.Covering it in beaver skin is pretty cool too.

How about a sheath on the shoulder strap for a patch/small skinning knife? If not on the strap, somewhere on or in the bag so it is handy?
When you get them built, and start thinking about maybe putting a price on one, let me know! I have been looking for a good one that looks like it is over a hundred years old, but has all the functionality required for today's goodies...

I had a patch knife long ago that I loved. It was a very thin blade, with a tip of an antler for a handle. Let me find the dang steel and I'll give it a shot. :D
