Population Explosion of Canadian "Super Pigs" Could Spread Into the Northern U.S.

In the last 20 years, wild pigs have proliferated in Canada's Prairie Pothole Provinces. They may soon disperse south into the United States.

Recreational hog hunting makes it worse because a few people turn pigs loose in the woods to hunt them and their progeny. It takes less than a year for a hog to go feral.
