Hey out of curiosity how much do those layout boats typically run. Been debating on building one vs buying one. Just curious which would cost less?

check Craigslist, eBay, & the likes
you can usually find a good used one for less than $200

any sway?

i've got a 6' x 10' that we're thinking about building a couple of tiers on to
Winger's also got a jet ski trailer that he's converted & is thinking about adding tiers too

for more then 3, ie much taller id go w/ steel or metal fram of some sort, much taller and im sure id have sway.

id do a metal frame, some sort of "rollers" to slide em in and out easily.

but w 5, youd be looking at 8-9 foot tall, doable...

you could possiblyl even do em side by side to cut down on height, depending on how wide they is.

thinking we could get them side by side & just go three high
but 5 in the Jeep...or any of their trucks is cramped

luckily it'll probably be a while before BDM finishes his &/or Chak finds his golden deal

Looks good:eek::.I need to get me a trailor for mine.I just got done building a roll around table to put mine on.Roll it right up to the tailgate and slide it in.Keep my dekes under it and out of the way.Lots easier than lifting that heavy sucker from the ground.
