Push "Post reply" at the bottom of the thread (don't type in the bottom section, this button is up from that).

Then a new page will open with place to reply. At the bottom left of that new page is a place for attachment. Then browse with the button there to find it on your computer.

thats what I did the first time. I think the pics are way too big. I just sent them to Mrb

Thats a bitmap image he is trying to post. I'm not sure that you can post a bmp picture here. Seems like it may have to be a jpeg or gif image but I may be wrong about that.
krb963 have you got a jpeg pic you can try?
