Is it too late in the year to put some lime on my fall plots for it to help them out for this year or should I wait til spring?

It’s never to late to lime unless the ground is frozen hard.

It won't provide much benefit for your fall plots. Might as well wait for season to get over .02.

If your ground calls for lime, there's no time like today.

If you have time I'd do it now. In spring it may be too wet or you don't have the time.

We always do it in winter during a freeze.
Kinda like Doe management... get the job done when the opportunity presents...
