My two sons and I were drawn for the first week of turkey season this year. Has anyone ever been? Any helpful tips would sure be appreciated.

Don't spook the elk, when they blow out any birds we heard on that ridge were done. Those birds will cross the ridges, we got away from the crowd and stayed high. Was a lot more challenging than Mid Mo.

Did you hunt inside the gate where the Elk were?

Yes, and when we bumped an elk it blew out the whole ridge, and it takes a while to get to another ridge.
