5 acres put in a couple different areas. Broadcasting some radishes in there also may be in the works.

What bean said. You have plenty of time for other options if it doesn't rain.
It’s dry enough I don’t think they will germ till we do get a rain...which is a good thing.
Shooting house is going up on the hill, so it should be “killer” for some youth hunters that will be out there.

If you get the greens going that should be a good spot youth season.

Are these cow peas and is getting late for those? I have about an acre yet to plant and was thinking just wait a little for radish . Maybe I can do both ?
Good luck if them are Austrian winter peas. Deer don’t give them a chance to grow much.
Probably going to be AWP's or Frost Master Pea's. Ice Cream Crop planted alone gets wiped out in my area due to deer density and lack of Ag . You can always drill in cereal grains and broadcast brassicas later....
Not sure the variety, my brother picked them up and is testing them out to use as a cash crop.

Got ya,didn't crop it this year cause it was so wet earlier I'm guessing? There should be some food around this year maybe there will be some good late season action on our lease and your ground
I can find an AWP or 4010 pea on 5 acres when in a mix. I quit trying them.

It was planted, but not enough corn made it through the rains.

Hopefully the deer will layoff them and stay in the beans/other Ag in the area. Once those bean fields start drying down/yellow.... deer should really hammer them. Be a killer spot early season...

Are your going to try and Harvest/Crop the Peas? Cash Crop??

With your deer density, I'd bet they're gonna have a tough go.
