Made a little artsy piece yesterday for a desktop display...
Cool looking piece.
So I'm assuming the right side was a hard spot that didn't want to work off?
That side was a square edge that I could have worked but I would have lost most of the width by the time I got it thinned down. There is a guy that makes some killer pieces that he calls " point in stone"
That is where the idea came from.
If you get some time, Google George Eklund point in stone. They are pretty neat and he works some nice missouri rock.
Looks a fuzz stacked up!
Now I know why its called points in stone (George Eklund)
Those are some very unique and interesting pieces MM.
Next point I make, I will clean up for you...
Gives you an idea what an arrowhead is made from. Just think what was thought of the very first one made.
