Anyone have one? I've been looking at ARs for awhile, been looking at DPMS, but also recently someone mentioned palmetto state. Looking at something in the $500-$600 range.

Palmetto States are ok for something in that price range but don’t overlook the Rugers. The nice thing on the Ruger is they have a threaded delta ring and you don’t need a special tool to swap out the forearm if you go to the m-loc or key-mod type so you can add accessory rails.

Good to know. I would like to find one with a free float, if not, I would want to swap it out. I don't care too much for the look of the glacier guard.

just bought a PSA AR Pistol..I got no complaints. Price was reasonable I thought
I love them for the money! They have weekly deals that are crazy cheap, last week I seen they had the Smith and Wesson Saint for 599 which is cheap.
I have an 18” one that cost under $500 (for the upper and lower). It shoots sub-MOA: 0.75” average for three 5-shot groups at 100 yards. Now, I probably got lucky and would not expect that out of every rifle.

If you just want a rifle for fun or maybe a bit of hunting at less than 200-300 yards, there’s no need to spend any more than what a PSA costs. They stand behind their stuff if there is issues. I had a 10.5” upper that wasn’t grouping and they swapped the barrel for me in about two weeks. Paid shipping both ways too if I remember correctly.
Can also look into piecing one together through online bargains and make it your own build and have everything you want for a very reasonable price.Im thinking about slowly doing this and building a 6.5 Grendel for my little step son to shoot (that’s the excuse I give my woman ha). I’ll prolly use Aero Precision for good portion of it.They are pretty dang good quality and fairly reasonablely priced and they have stuff on sale fairly regularly.Good luck with your rifle.Lots of good options out there

I was gifted a 300 BLK pistol from PSA. No complaints. Looking forward to deer season.
PSA often has some whimsical markings on their receivers, which amuse and sometimes delight me. I haven't heard much if anything bad about them. I'd buy one if I wanted another AR type rifle.
Fixing to buy 4 stripped lowers and start building, they will be palmetto lowers 775 T6 Aluminum
:cool!:

You have at least another 4/5 years before you'll be able to quadruple your $$$$$$$.... plenty of build time.. ;)
