the current pin measures .437 or 7/16" and is 1.045 long, i have several pins at work we are going to center grind, im grinding just 1 to .438, and will test fit it to MY gun, my goal is to remove any play that my heed accuracy, my goal is to get to a size i have to tap in with a plastic head hammer, hardness tests have been measured on the original pin, and this hardness will be duplicated also

I had a local machinist make me up 6 hinge pins of slightly differing sizes for an Encore, then wound up using the one I got from Bellm. :) Still have those other pins laying around somewhere but no longer have an Encore.
