I see alot of people complain about out of state hunters. I see it on an Arkansas site as well. A few things to consider.
I just took a trip to Central MO to bow hunt.
I purchased 3 full tanks of gas in MO.
I paid for 5 nights at a motel.
I paid for 12 meals.
I bought snacks and drinks at a local grocery store.
I bought a non-resident archery tag and anterless tag.
I also came back to Arkansas with out a deer. I think that is a pretty good deal for MO. I will go back if the tag price does not increase. The people were nice and welcomed my business. Times are hard for a lot of business and I will welcome anyone to come down to Arkansas. We have some great trout rivers and if you need any pointers Just ask.

[rquote=1493957&tid=104327&author=Montauklunkerhunter]My post wasnt to offend you. Just think all states need to be fair, if you have to draw in to one, we need to draw into all.

It was a rough season this year with so many of the crops still in the field. I think you'll see the discontent with out of state hunters is higher at times the huntings slow:D

Yell county ,,,is that the county Yellville is located In??? I drive thru there on occasian.

Missouri ought to have a reciprocal agreement with the other States. Same price and quantity of tags made available as the other State.

we've got neighbors like that as well. the dogs have been bringing up pieces of a deer since rifle season ended. i rode the atv through the creek bed in search of whatever their draggin up and havent been able to find it. i'm sure when i go shed huntin again this year i'll find more deer skeletons like i did last year.

I bought some Missouri land 4 years ago..I have never regretted the decision. I have experienced some of the best of times with my sons. The land is now up for sale. Do I regret it? Heck No, No Way, No How. I got my sons interested in the outdoors and hunting, and along the way, I got them away from the TV. We came across rattle snakes, bobcats, deer, turkey, and overall a sense of conservation.

WOnder why they let OOS hunters in the managed hnt draw when they don't allow them to get reservations for the duck parks? Managed hunt folks are getting screwed on that deal IMO.

No one should ever have to pay more than $80 or so for a whitetail tag, and everyone from every state should be welcome.

We're all Americans!:D
