Can anyone tell me about this River? It supposedly an under rated walleye fishery. We've broken 6 off at the dock.

The lake is a big stripper fishery, not sure about the river below the damn. As of right now we are isolated to the dock.

8 inch largemouth is all we have to show. We're going to head down more towards dusk as dawn/dusk seems to be when the are feeding.

I believe they stock the lake with trout as well...

Maybe look into renting a boat/guide......

Seems like chain pickerel have been hanging out more at the dock so thats what we're targeting.

wow! That fish is Pikey Lookin!
That might be what’s been snapping you off.. Those teeth will do a number on mono.. might switch over to some braid or a small wire leader...might want to check for any abrasions on your line and retie after each fish landed.... looks like a blast!

After the first morning we picked up some steel leaders. Pretty cool fish. Watching them dart out from under the dock to hit lures was a blast. Never did see any other fish really. A large mouth or two, some small bluegill, and a few suckers was it.
