wanting a good bow for my 9 year old boy...seen some interesting deals on Archery Talk, but i'm not familiar enough with bows to form an opinion...what are your thoughts on the Hoyt Rintec and the Bowtech Miranda?...i'd never even heard of these before

My twins are 8. They tried a few..the Pearson Cadet is nice. The Hoyt Rintec in 30-40 (or less) is good for their age.

I just bought my 5 year old son a Mission (matthews) Menace. Kinda pricey but it should fit him through high school.

Length is adjustable (without a bow press) from 17-30"
    weight adjustments from 16-52lbs.

My daughter has a PSE Spyder, I believe her adjustments are from 17-25" and 20-40lbs.

Check ebay also. I bought Sophia's PSE for I around $50.
