Had a great time with this loudmouth up in the timber at 12:30 . 1 1/4 spurs , Double Beard , 21 lbs ( which was light for his age I thought ...) Had several cuts on him from fighting with other Toms

Birds loose a lot of weight when they spend all their time chasing hens, seems to be a common occurrence across species.

Those scars probably explain why he only weighed 21#. Congrats on a great bird.
