Well I finally rounded up a buddy to make the long trip to NE MO with me for one last hunt. I was done up north for the year until I got a report from two buddies hunting my farm over the weekend. They saw 53 deer between the two of them in two afternoons. I'm sure some where the same deer. One buck of 140" or better was missed and several smaller bucks seen. I have always wanted to hunt in the snow. I really don't want to make 11+ hour drive to freeze by tail off, so I'm going to suck it up and go. There has to be a few good ones with that many deer using the farm. I hope one or two will show them selves. If not it sounds like I need to kill a few does any way.
