Went out thursday evening overlooking a 1 acre corn field plot that my son killed a nice little eight pointer out of opening day, wasnt really expecting much because it seemed i was having the worse season in memory then about 5 minutes before dark this nice buck came out, i have been real picky this year not wanting to kill anything less than 140 and honestly hadnt even had the chance, although i did pass some small 110s and 120s up, i did not know this buck was on my place, never seen him no cam pics nothing, but glad he showed up when he did, he came out at about 60 yards and i put a perfect gut shot on him in all my nervousnes he ran 150 yards never left a drop of blood but i had a good idea were he ran to and i recovered him in 20 minutes, so sorry about the bad pic i just dont spend to much effort on that, btw he is broken up or he would have had double split brow tines he is starting a drop tine he would have been a 13 pointer so now he is a weak 11 or a real strong 9 but either way a good one for me
