If it were you, which would you take off to hunt? and why? I have a personal day I can use and just wondering which you would think would be the best.

Plus, the 11th is a holiday and more people will probably be hunting, or maybe putting up treestands.

IF you have the possibility to Wait until right before.............

decide last minute on the best weather...

beats deciding now, and sitting in the rain.

11th, that is actually the day I would choose if I only had one day a year to hunt!

BTW, I'll be off both days.:stirpot:

Tell ya what I'm willing to do for a good friend....you hunt the 9th and give me directions and I'll hunt the 11th for you in your stand. We can compare notes afterwards to find out which day was really the best day. That's what I'm willing to do....send directions in U2U form so the rest won't know where your spot is located.

I would do the 9th. Field and stream said the 8th will be the best day of the year for an all day sit. I've seen more deer the last two years on the day they claim will be the best than any other day. two years ago killed my biggest archery buck on the day they designated as best.

Call me crazy.... Cause I am.

Well, the 9th right now is mostly sunny with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s...that may change between now and then. The 10th is 60% chance of showers, and the 11th is not on the 10-day forecast yet. I have to usually give about a week advance notice at my work so Im gonna try and roll the dice on the 9th and see how it works out. I don't have any basketball games that night so I can hopefully stay most/all day.:

    Pinwheel....Im jealous.
MM..............Thanks for your generous offer, but I got it covered.:D
