I’m from East Tn. and I’m thinking about traveling to Missouri to deer hunt during the rifle season. Would anyone be willing to give me some suggestions on public land rifle hunting. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I'm open to any suggestions but North East is bouncing around in my brain.Lots of public ground throughout the state. Rifle season most are pumpkin patches. What part of the state you thinking of hunting?
That's kinda the feeling I'm getting but my hunting buddy wants to gun hunt.Keep your head down.
X 2I'd buy a couple crossbows and hunt the first week of November. You'll see rut activity, and won't have to deal with the insanity. No way I'd hunt public land during rifle season.
What kind of money are we talking about and how do I inquire with someone?Yes, yes, northeast Missouri is the Best place to go......
incoming!!!
Jk, I'd suggest hooking up with one of the gents on here selling a hunt. They've done all the work for you, all you have to do is show up and hunt. They might even have a place for you to stay. You'd probably have a much better experience than wondering around 4000 acres with a bunch of other guys with itchy trigger fingers.
You can take cover or come hunt my farm.@deep woods goat hunter
