New Zealand red stag

    Thought you all might enjoy pics of my uncles red stag.
    Kinda neat mount, on pedicel...
    This one with my ugly mug included for size reference.

    nice mass on this rack.. not too noticeable from the wifes pics :(
  4. Nice stag, if I ever get up the money I would love to hunt one over there. I've seen a few shows on the outdoor channel about the hunts in New Zealand, looks like pretty country for sure.

    I like the pedestal mount too...thinkin I'll do that with my next deer mount, IF I ever kill one big enuff. Looks like amazing mass on dat many points does he have???

    Its my uncles and I didnt spend a lot of time studying it but the mass and amt of points awesome. Lots diff from what the racks I see on tv.

    He hunts a lot of african plains animals too.. when time allows, I'll post some of those pics also. They live in Florida and we just got back from visiting couple weeks ago.

    It's definatly one of my life goals to go there and hunt someday!
