I finally recieved the latest edition Scorpyd crossbow I ordered in February. Rex from Scorpyd had called and asked if I'd be interested in a special edition Death Stalker called the Grim Reaper made in partnership with Grim Reaper Broadheads. He described the bow and the package it would come with and told me that only 100 bows would be built. He stated the bow would shoot over 400fps and have 150lb. limbs. Additionally Scorpyd donated 100% of the bid price for the 001 bow to the wounded warriors and a portion of the sales of the final 99 bows to the disabled archers organization. I purchased the bow at the end of our conversation. Here are some pictures of my #004 Grim Reaper. They do still have a few left if anyone is interested. DSCN0935.JPG DSCN0934.JPG DSCN0936.JPG

There was a deer standing in my back yard, it keeled over and died when it looked into my house and saw images of it on my computer screen. :D

With CWD and all of those mdc sharp shooters out there the computer screen could be as close as one gets to a live deer.

Good looking Rig... have you had a chance to shoot it yet? Looks like it would be "kid" friendly in regards to LOP...

Is the scope included ? How's the trigger?

The trigger is very good and the pull is adjustable between very light and slightly heavier. I'll get the measurements and post them. This particular bow came with the scope hawk xb1 speed dial with lighted reticle, sling, quiver, 6 arrows, pack of grim reaper broadheads, string care kit, cocking rope, and soft coate finish. $1437 shipped.

    Here are the specs:
    32 1/2 overall length
    17 1/2 wide uncocked
    10 3/4 cocked
6.2 lbs. bare (without accessories, scope, sling, quiver)
Like all Scorpyds the bow balances very well at the center of the riser and doesnt feel nose heavy.

You have a serious crossbow addiction. :)
    That thing looks mean.
Quick question - I noticed the trigger guard on CBs doesn't make a complete loop around the trigger. I've always wondered why, do you know?

once you get past the glitzy product roll out phase, what will be the price point for this bow?

I suspect that with 25 or so bows left out of the 100 offered it will remain static. I also suspect later in the year a standard version Death Stalker with 150lb limbs will come available with a less expensive accessorie package at a lower cost. I'd guess $1200 or so.

Trigger on my Sub1 is enclosed in a full trigger guard.

How is the trigger on this compared to Sub-1. Trigger on Sub-1 is better than you might fid on some deer rifles.....

yes the trigger is comparable to a aftermarket rifle trigger. Can be almost to light in the lightest position. Its a better trigger than the mission, more target than hunting. The new mission trigger is much better than the older models but I like Scorpyds better.
