Thinking about getting a spypoint link evo and was wondering if it’s worth it? Month-to-month cost $15/month unlimited photos and the annual subscription of unlimited photos is $10/month
The camera would be 15 miles away from the house, trying to decide if it’s justifiable.

It’s not about the distance for me it’s more about not intruding in your property to check the cams. If you go on he property regularly I would say it’s not worth it. If you try to stay out then I would do it.

I currently have two Evos and one Micro. That excitement you get checking cards now comes to me twice a day when my cameras upload pics. To me they’re worth it, but then again I’m 3 hrs away from my farm.

Yeah I have Covert cams in MS and we just got 2 spypoint micros for Missouri and cellular is the way to go.Since using cellular cameras at our MS land we have killed 3xs the mature deer we have killed in past. For 1 you get real time scouting info. For example if you get a buck frequenting a spot 1 day you can call in vacation or it may have been a weekend you didn’t plan to hunt and now you do go hunt because you have a buck frequenting a spot vs checking cameras 3 weeks after he has left area. For 2 it keeps the pressure down on your farm tremendously and human scent out of the woods and field edge where camera may be located. Now if I can figure out why these spypoints only send day time photos when they are set to 12am to 12am then I would be happy with them. For now Covert or bust for me from now on until another camera impresses me

They r worth it. I have a micro and an evo. I keep my scent out of the woods and i can go in and hunt when the time is right. I put solor battery on both. I never need to walk to my cams

It’s just money right? But honestly 15 miles away I’d just check it in my way to hunt every now an then an adjust from there. That’s what I do with the random tracts of land to hunt within an hour drive.

I think many people seasons would benefit from cell cameras because most people don't have the control to keep from checking them too often. That is one of the biggest benefits of cell cameras in my opinion. One of my cameras has been soaking for almost a month and it hasn't been checked once even tho I've been food plotting and drove by it. Not getting my butt excited until it's time.

I have an EVO and a MICRO. Both work well. Just make sure you choose wisely between AT&T and Verizon, depending on your cell service in that area.
