First question is do I need pelletized or bulk lime or is the ease of application the only major difference. Secondly, my soil sample says I need about 4000 pounds of lime (over a 1 and 1/2 acre area) where is the cheapest place around central Missouri to buy Lime? Thanks in advance for all of your help.

lime not pelitized.

Define central MO a little closer. My understanding is that pelletized works quicker but doesn't last long. Crushed lime works for years. Check your local MFA, they spread mine.
