Need new sprayer that can handle diesel and remedy mix. Have a XP2 now owned by Hudson but never liked and struggled with cap leaking. Birchmeier does not use Viton seals and have heard some of the professionals complain about Stihl sprayers. Jacto cd 400 look nice but never knew any one who has used one.

I like my Stihl. I have not sprayed diesel through it though.

That is actually a mister, not a sprayer.

Having used one in the past I'm pretty confident it would struggle with the viscosity of diesel fuel/remedy mix.

Considering it can blow granulated material, I don't think viscosity would be an issue.

They are pricey, but they double as leaf blowers for making fire breaks in the timber, so it's kinda a two for one.

Granulated material is still in loose form, it's the "stickiness" of oil based products that makes misters struggle.

I didn't want to use diesel/remedy in my good Solo backpack so I bought a disposable $29 Harbor Freight backpack sprayer. Dang thing still works after 4 years.

Mine does too, but the tank separated from the bottom, where the pump handle is attached. Had to strap the 2 together, but it still works that way. For $30, it was well worth it.
Might have to "splurge" and buy another.lol

I picked up this one last fall and it worked well. When fired up it goes through a tank of fluid fast.
