    Native Forage Workshop for Missouri Stockman
    Saturday, July 9th, 2016

    Osage County USDA Office
    1315 E. Main
    Linn, MO 65051
    Workshop Topics:
    *Understanding Native Grasses
    *Eradication of existing plant species
    *Establishment of Native Grasses
    *Management and Maintenance: Haying and Grazing
    *Financial Benefits of Natives and Incentives to Get Started

    Field Visit: A field visit to a local native warm-season grass field will follow the classroom portion.
    Register by July 7th, 2016

    For Reservations:
    Seth Barrioz (573) 897-3797 ext. 116 ( MDC Private Land Conservationist)

    Directions: From Jefferson City, take Hwy 50 East to Linn, MO.
    Continue through Linn and go past Break time on the right.
    The USDA office will be on the left hand side of the road.
    If you pass Rosebud Tractor on the left you have
    gone too far.
