here is Track Em Down's Tracking Lisa chillin in her new barn kennel after a morning run. I put in some solo work with her and GH Odie dog and she done a very good job. That's her favorite spot too. back corner. she sits there and lays in that spot all the time.

have GH come over sat morning and we'll knock it out. Shouldn't be hard to build. I just wish I can build him something creative. and not just a plain jane box

I haven't added up the reciepts yet. It was alot. Maybe $400-$500 if I had to guess. I donated alot to Home Depot.

My dogs do a very good job for me so they deserve it. Make them comfortable house to live in. Clean dry shade food water everythng they need.

That floor is awesome. the poop falls right there and the dogs are always clean never walking in poo. I perfer above ground kennels over ground kennels. All I have to do is scoop it up from the bottom with a rake and into a bucket for the trash man.............:rof2:

Looks good.I've seen wire before on bottom and realize the problems with that. But with the Slats is there a chance of slipping a Leg between them and breaking it?

No they walk on it just fine. I got the wider boards for when they come out the dog box. The thinner slots is for the poop zone. And thats where they do their duty. Works out quiet well. They also tend to walk on the outer edges. More support for them there too. Of coarse they've been on this type floor since they were very very small. If you take a dog that isn't use to it. then they'd fall. But would probably adjust.

And thats why I don't keep them on wire. It tears up the paws. Alot of people keep them on wire. Wood slots is much better.

Wow... did that ever turn out nice.

I can see you put a lot of work into that box and it shows. Nice work!
