Went well, it was held the 12/09-12/11This is when some of us got a blanket of snow and frigid temps
At the orientation meeting it was in the single digits and the wind had gusts from 20 to 40 mph man was it cold brrr
My stand setup i was facing to the NW, Right into that wind and had adeer come up on me about 8:30 in the morning and never presented me a shot
Made a mistake and lesson learned with the temps the way they were i had taken my larger than usual gloves and didnt feel comfortable pullin the hammer back with the bulky gloves on and had taken my trigger hand glove off with the deer meandering around awhile and never giving me a shot i coulnt hardly move my hand from it bein so cold
Early afternoon got up in my stand and not soon after a smaller deer emerges from the thicket stands out about the 50 yds or so and i let it rip
