My dads boss took his 9 year old daughter out and she shot a 9 point buck still in full velvet. I wonder if it was a doe and they just didn't realize it????? That doe has a heck of a rack though, usually they are real weird looking.

I killed a velvet deer rifle season a few years back . But it was a buck that lost his testies. They say they lose em on a fence and that causes the horns not to harden.
