BB,

The best setup I've seen with a reel on it was a bolt welded to a peice of 1" or so metal rod (about 8" long). Then the reel was pipe clamped to the rod of metal.

Looks like a regular ol zebco 33 or similar. Nice idear, course this may be
a common practice for all I know.

Dont forget to release the bail before you shoot, I'm guessing..

Shoot, I'd find the peices of metal, take them to the shop teacher, and ask him if he can get one of the students to do it for you. It ought to be an easy task. Just make sure the bolt fits in your bow.

I'd think your local welding shop would do it for about 5 bucks too though.

or get one those ams retriever reels.

but for the record, if it is a zebco 33 ditch it for an 808! that way you can spool that bad boy with some 400# fast flight

Good advice JB....specially on the retriever reel....no button to push before ya shoot....Sully's link on your next post is a good place too.....right here in Mo too, down near Lincoln...
