Take cut small leafy limb,start beating the ground with it while whistling on the call.Drive the Squirrels nuts,thinking a Hawk is after a baby.They bark all around you.

I used to have one that looked kinda like a crow call horn on one end
and a corrugated rubber ball on the other.. just bounce it on you knee
in short bursts and sounds just like a bark..

This call works so much better in Spring and Summer.I don't think it works as good durring Fall.But when they start cutting Nuts take couple pebbles rub them together like a Squirrel cutting.They'll start coming to your area.
