Shot probably my biggest buck to date around 9:20 today.

I was sitting over looking a very open( not many trees) but bruchy bottom. So 5 deer on the oposite hillside from me near the top of the ridge, but they were 300+ yds away. Had 4 more deer cross the bottom out of my sight and head up the far ridge to where the first 5 deer went. By the time I saw them, they were probably 200+ yds away in the timber. I was grunting and bleeting at all of them and none payed any attention to me. All of this happened before 8 am. Needless to say, I was getting pretty frustrated. About 9:10 or so, saw a deer coming from where all 9 deer went. I grunted at him a couple of times and then lost sight of him. 10 minutes later I saw him in the bottom and headed my way. He got within 50 yds of me and stopped in some thick stuff. I could see his head and neck clearly and thats all the opportunity he gave me so I made the shot. He ran about 20 yds, and stood for about 30 seconds and then crashed. I think some does heard me grunt and then all th commotion casue they came running up on the scene. I waited until they ran off before I got down out of my stand and walked up on this dude.
