Our clover is currently about a foot tall or maybe a little longer, when is the best times to mow it without hurting it but still allowing it to choke out the rest of the undergrowth?
The reason to mow clover is for weed control, and to keep fresh growth on your clover. That looks like a really clean stand so weed control is not an issue right now. I wouldn't be against mowing it to stimulate new growth right now, but it also would not be bad if you wait another couple weeks. Do whichever fits your schedule best. I would plan to mow again in early September to stimulate new growth before hunting season.
