Morrell\'s 6 shooter

Anyone got one of these archery targets?

It takes Superman to pull arrows out of this thing! Bout
ready to set it out for the trash.. :mad2:

I heard they were pretty tough to pull arrows from. Have ya tried using a lube on your arrows first. Dish soap, silicone, wd, anything works prettty good.

Oh.. never tried that.

I got an arrow puller but those tight groups are hard to manage with that deal.:rotfl:

You might need an arrow puller that's big enough to handle more than one arrow.

Ask DSG if he has an extra. I don't have that problem.

Oh rat....the original comment just reminded me of the anonymous guys that will pop on here just before archery season and show their '50 yard groups' that have 10 arrows touching.

How about taking an electric drill to it with a bit the size of an arrow, and loosening it up a little?

I got this bow all setup and shot a tight group at 30 and have not been able
to repeat this feat yet! I was excited at first, now.. hmmm..

I always say practice at your max range, and that will make your closer ranges tighter.

Once I let 2 or 3 go at 20, I usually move back to 40 after that. But its not like I'm any kind of expert on this stuff! I've never shot one of them 3-D tournaments......just not my thing.

Maybe your arrows dont penetrate as much as mine.

Yeah! That'd loosen it up a little. If you drilled in from both sides. (or if you had a big bit). Just turn it on and drill drill drill. Its not going to be hard to penetrate the stuff like that.

Seriously......I think it'll work. It sure beats throwing it away, and it beats it being a pain in the butt all of the time.

I was just trying to come up with something where you could 'add 500 shots' to your target quick. They all loosen up with more shots.
