The way I see it there's 14% of market share up for grabs. That's nothing to sneeze at. Hopefully it will go to a deserving retailer that doesn't try to sit on the fence.Wont move the needle one bit.
When I said move the needle I meant in terms of controlling these mass shooter idiots. The way I see it there's 14% of market share up for grabs. That's nothing to sneeze at. Hopefully it will go to a deserving retailer that doesn't try to sit on the fence.
agreed but I'd love to see a number of what % the gun control crowd really does shop at Wal Mart..but WM dropped Paula Dean & Duck Dynasty..maybe its just the Big wigs in NY now not so much the average Joe/Jolene WalMartWhen I said move the needle I meant in terms of controlling these mass shooter idiots.
Your point about market share is well taken. I'm not sure it's much of a risk for WM though because I'm not sure they sell enough of that ammo to make a difference to their bottom line. It's a low-risk political move in order to pander to the gun control crowd.
I believe there's more to it than that. I believe they see the writing on the wall that a lawsuit is on the horizon going after the deep pockets once an ammo purchase from a mass shooting is linked to walmart selling that ammo. Much like the Monsanto crap that's costing them millions just in legal fees. When I said move the needle I meant in terms of controlling these mass shooter idiots.

But Ford and Chevy are not responsible for a DUI, so I think its not so much about that as just basic public pandering that I hope backfires. But WM is so large, I doubt its as evident to them as others like kmart when they quit hand gun ammo sales.I believe there's more to it than that.
