A co-worker brought this in the other day. It measured 5 inches across and 8 inches tall. Its the biggest I've ever seen.

I wish I had some pic of some reds I picked about 8 years ago. 2 of them were bigger than a basketball and wouldn't fit in a 5 gallon bucket. If I remember right we picked 19 of them that day & they almost covered the hood of the truck.

I know too many people who'v had bad reactions to false morels. I won't touch em.

Not Me......I still eat all I can find. No problem putting them on the Mailmans plate.....well there is one problem.....they don't stay there very long. My biggest to date is 11 1/2 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches wide.......and it was delicious.

Yep, I eat em too...You can slice them too thick, and they get a bit mushy, but just slice em just right, and they're all good!!! Not as good as a true morel, but still pretty good!!!
