I would really like to know if the kid was using a bow or a crossbow?

That's hardly the point, some kid had to KILL another "human being", does it really matter what kind of bolt/arrow launcher he used? From now on, no matter what, he's the teenager who stuck someone and that someone died (mainly because a dumb### judge let him loose when he should be in prison, at least twice!).
It isn't the kid's fault in any way, but that's how it's gonna be for the rest of his life. He'll have to live with that, and the behind-the-back talking about him, wherever he goes.

Maybe nobody will mess with him. Knowing what the outcome may be.

This is one of them stories you think might be more to it. Was there previous history. What was daddy doing when the guy was threatening the kid, did the dad/kid have things allegedly taken by the guy previously, had the guy been banging wife/mommy, etc.
Sounds like guy was total scum, but sure don't get to hear his version of events.
Guess the kid only had to burn an anterless tag at least.

most people i know, if they knew who the kid even was....would likely walk up and say WTG kid, you did a good thing, that guy was POS and likely to end up ruining others lives and probably killing an innocent person or two! SO, bravo kid!

I would like to know if it was a bow are crossbow. just like if he used a gun rifle, shotgun, pistol or ML

agree, by no means and I saying anyone was in the wrong, but fearing for your life without dad there seems more realistic than with dad there...although the guy could have been charging with a knife, bat, stick...

You don't know the father's physical condition. The dad in the story might be handicapped in some way that prevents him from being able to defend himself and his son. This would place even more pressure on the young man in the story.

Absolutely, possible, but he likely got there in a hurry!

Regardless, a compound kill would still be far more impressive than just point and squeeze!
