That lifetime hunting license giveaway is really awesome!
Lifetime fishing permit is probably the best Christmas present I ever got! They can raise fishing license costs all they want!

I think I've talked my grandson into shooting again this year. He will be shooting a hickory bow I made him. Is there a Traditional Kids Class?

No, only a regular traditional or youth class.

So he will be competing with wheelie bows. Not a problem.

:( Well its a no go for my grandson. He has pneumonia and is coughing his head off. He spent the night here at my house and brought his bow for the shoot today. Poor little guy wanted to shoot the tourney so bad. We had hoped he would lick this thing but it wasn't to be. He was looking forward to all the awards for the kids and had hopes in hearing his name drawn for the Lifetime Permit. Maybe next year.

Heading there in a few minutes and looking for a new shooting partner.
sure it is not allergies? good luck at the shoot

Doctor said it was pneumonia.
What an awesome day at the MDS 3D archery shoot ! I think we had close to 70 shooters and 20 of them were yutes! It was great seeing some old friends and making some new ones. I was concerned when when of the archers came up to me (he did look a little familiar) and questioned what a duck hunter like me was doing at an archery shoot. Turned out that it was an almost clean shaven Ken Davis (who looked like he should have been in ZZ Top) who he managed Schell-Osage WA for 18 years! Amazing who you will run into at these events! Thanks to all of our sponsors but especially Pipefitter's Local 533 (primary sponsor) and Sheetmetal Worker's #2 for their sponsorship and especially for use of their awesome grill!
