Did you buy it from Mike's in St. Peters? I was all set on a Ten Point but after I read this I went on Mission's website to check out the Sub-1. Now I'm torn. Looks like a nifty piece of equipment.

and, I wouldn't call it cheating, I would call it stacking the odds in your favor, or just making things as easy as possible, without using a rifle or paying off the refs.

actually, I do call the xgun thing cheating:)

Yes, Mike is an old friend, and buy all my bows from him. He let me borrow his MXB last winter, this sub-1 is a long way from the MXB if you ask me. Much better made, and accurate as a rifle :D

I don't honestly care what you call it, I call it fun. :wave1: I don't care if it's easier, harder, or somewhere in between. It's just another way to kill a deer, and since I am an accuracy freak, it'll be fun to watch bolts go ripping through rib cages through the scope. Don't worry, I'll try and video tape them for you to enjoy as well. :D

Pats won that Superbowl, PY won't accept crossbow kills.

Have fun, besides you really didn't care about crossbow inclusion either way did ya?:)

I guess you've never noticed my feelings on deer scoring and submitting a deer to P&Y or other organization. I shoot deer for me, not them. Why would I care if P&Y won't accept it..... :wave1:

If they didn't legalize them, it would have saved me about $1500, as I still would have hunted with my Reezen, and still enjoyed it. Heck, I'll still hunt with my Reezen, although maybe not as much this fall as it will be my goal to kill as many deer as I feel like killing with the sub1 this year. :D But, I will still have stands set for compound bow usage, where the xbow just wouldn't make sense. :wave1: Nothing wrong with going both ways. :D

I don't submit them either, but I could if I chose to do so:)

I'm just busting on ya, at least you have admitted they are easier and provide a distinct advantage.

Pretty much no such thing as a robin hood with a crossbow. The nocks especially metal nocks deflect the arrow. The arrows just splinter when hit directly on the end. What you can do is tape a 3/8 washer to the target and shoot your arrow inside the hole.

Do you know anybody that buys the P&Y book to look for the names of other guys on the entries. Its kind of like masturbation you're just satisfying yourself and nobody else knows.

Never thought about reading the PY book, PY 0r BC to ME, is kinda like shooting par in a round of golf, or a 300 bowling game...just a measure that probably only the individual cares about, or individuals that share your particular interest. If a hunter understands and appreciated trophy animals then they may appreciate when someone says they have killed x number of PY....or they could just talk like most others and say, got me a 9 pointa.

Exactly what is there to complain about????

Do you really worry about what rifle, bow, atl-atl the guy hunting next door to you is using???

There is enough in life to worry about, without worrying about things that don't have an impact on you...... Like, did I buy enough beer, did I remember to close the garage door before I got into bed, will the FBI come looking for me if I cut off the label on my mattress, did I count to exactly three before I lobbed the holy hand grenade of antioch?, etc... :D

I never shot a primitive ML and certainly did not support in-lines to be introduced, so many don't support bow buns in archery, they would rather have bows in archery season or lessor weapons include like atlatl's. That's all! Every season doesn't need to include weapons that make it almost as easy as using a firearm, or weapons to induce guys that are too busy or unwilling to arise to the challenge for each season beyond the regular firearms.
