Took new bow to the range today, for the first time.

Got it sighted in at 20yds, bolts were going into the same hole as previous shots. You sure dont want to shoot at the same spot with this thing. You'd leave the range with a bunch of robin hoods.

Anyway, got it all zeroed in at 20yds, slid over to the 40 yd target, and let one go.... Bottom of 10 Ring first shot. Slight tweek on speed of bolt setting, and zipping center of 10 ring.

Man, this thing is gonna be fun to kill deer with. I may just pile em up high. :D

Picked up the gopro mount for this afternoon, so gonna get some video of bolts flying through rib cages this fall. :D

Welcome to the dark side.

Can you do that with a compound?

I probably can't do it with CJs crossbow. Right now with me trying to learn a new anchor point I'm happy shootin minute of deer at 40.

Right. You should be shooting professionally then. You'd be in the top 10 or 20 in the world.

You ought to be able to consistently shoot 9 pointers now!

9’s are just 8’s with a deduction. Have fun piling em up cj.

At CJs place the 9s are called nontypicals.

    And you bash the patriots.

I highly doubt you are regularly robin hooding or ever have had a Robin Hood at 20 yards, much less 40.

But, like we all know, theybpreform like guns!

Last robin hood I shot was a 35 yd shot with a Browning eclipse compound. Still have the arrows. I quit shooting “groups” after that cause arrows aint cheap.

They are meant for anyone who wants to use one... Haven't you read the regs lately.... :wave1: Come on, keep up with the times....

It's honestly less work to shoot a compound, so not sure why it's just us old guys who need to shoot them. But it is pretty cool shooting arrows with rifle like precision, I will admit to that. Gonna be fun sniping deer with it no doubt. Still need to get them close and at the right angle, get all lined up on them etc. But, I'd imagine any deer standing inside 40 yds broadside that I want to shoot, will not live long. :D
