I need to know what reputable engine repair shop will work on my 1975 Mercury 50hsp outboard. The engine starts and runs fine but it will not go into reverse or neutral. I live in Eureka Mo and the shops will not work on engines older than 10years old. HELP Please:wink4::wink4:

scorpion69, might wait a bit til DSG comes on and he should have an answer for you. I know a great mechanic but I'm not sure he would work on something that old either and he is pretty far from you.
