I do know I heard several people say they were attending a different shoot farther away because of the bino thing last year, maybe that had something to do with it. Some people say binos slow things down, some say they don't make a difference. I don't know myself. I have seen guys get on the stake and look thru their binos for what seemed like an eternity, nock an arrow, look thru their binos again, then shoot. I have seen open class shooters at marshall get on the stake, draw their bow, look the target over, let down, regroup, then draw their bow and shoot. I believe there is a time limit on shooting once you touch the stake and I am almost positive that you are not suppose to use binos once you have touched the stake. I guess no matter what the rules are there are always gonna be a few guys that slow things down. It will be interesting to see how Marshall and all its shooters get along with the new rule. Hope it goes well.
