Mailman all joking aside I am pretty sure my neighbors truly believe in the deer a day theory. You guys have no idea how ready I am to get to your state!

Late November.... Ya, they'll all pretty much be gone by then.....:D

Maybe a spike or two left, at least in the AR counties... But, the rest will all be gone....:rof2::rof2::rof2:

And, the deer in my area of the state, run like crazy at even the slighted hint of a human.... You want deer that don't look up in trees, head up to Montana.....

    Good luck to y'all.

My son is at Ole Miss, and will be back home for deer season.

When they are not getting spotlighted they are being run by dog hunters! I am not saying there dumb, they just act a lil more natural than ours.

I've seen some monster bucks down in mississippi, about an hour northwest of columbia MS. there was a HUGE mossy oak real real estate sign up around there...they only wanted a cool 2 mil for the land...but that place had some seriously huge bucks on it

Its crazy the thought process of the southern hunters....they truly believe that if they don't kill it someone else will so many bite the dirt. I have been talking to some LA hunters that I am good friends with that hunt LA and MS and I see why they are up here. :2thumbsup:

letemgrow...You are the winner. That is the thought process around here! I hate it...you cannot manage land successfully in the lower portion of the state due to the neighbors killing anything that approaches their ILLEGAL CORN PILE! Don't get me wrong Mississippi has some areas that truly are stacked with GIANTS however it costs a fortune to get within 50miles of those areas. Just a question for you guys...it seems to me judging by the success over this last weekend that the rut has begun how true is that assessment and how long will it last? Do the bucks chase until Thanksgiving? Just Curious
