This is crazy.... The story says he was hooking up a trailer and the thing jumped out at him. It had rabies, which makes it a little scarier.

Sounds like my dad, he shot a turkey's leg off with his bow, He chased it down and beat it with a stick, It couldnt take off flying, but he said you wouldnt believe how fast a one legged turkey can run.

I don't know if I would have gone after it with as much gusto if it were sporting 1 3/4" daggers...Almost caught a pheasant the other day but chickened out when it came time to grab the sucker...thought about how them spurs would feel on a cheek or an eyeball...I think i'm getting soft

And I'll beat you to it cause I aksed him the same question. Why didnt you just shoot it again with the bow? His answer "well It was in the tree when I shot it and I already missed it twice... I hit it with my last arrow"
