Went up to the Cabin hunted on COE Land.Monday morning went out in the dark trying to find a good place to set up didn't have much luck and it was clear the area had been hunted hard.
Decided to go exploring found a field it had been hunted hard and looked like they didn't worry about driving all over the area even though their not suppose to.
Decided to scout it found a place to set looking over into some brush and open woods along a river where I figured Deer would go into the field.Figured I would set here later.
Went to the other end of the field it looked good as well.Seen something laying out there.Went up it was a pair of Insulated Coveralls,fit me just right.Thank you Lord !I needed these for cold weather.
Went ate Lunch and went back down to set.About dark seen a couple Grillers in the brush shot one of them.Thank you lord!Got it out and went back to the Cabin.
Tuesday morning went back about where I had set the evening before but where I could see the brush better.Just after daylight senced something behind me.It was a Big Mature White Horned Buck.Wide Curved Rack but what about points? Dang its got nubs for Points! So I'm trying to see if he is Legal.About the time I figured he was he winded me,turned didn't Snort,Raise his Tail just turned walked away.It looked like he may still give me a Broadside shot if he takes couple more steps.Safty is off.He disapperd the ground just swallowed him up.
Well it turned off colder and I was hurting decided to come back today was Fun came home with a Little meat.Going to make it into Jerky and Summer Sausage for the Kids for Christmas.
