:whiteflag: We never even caught a glimpse of the big boy this year. I have not gotten a daytime picture of him since August.

I SURE hope he sticks around and turns into a bruiser this coming year so we can go out in hopes of chasing a true trophy buck.

This is the most pictures I've ever got of what I consider a really nice buck. I've got about 5 videos and over 100 pictures. Its been fun watching him. I've got to give a lot of credit to my Scout Guard cameras for working well throughout the summer and fall too.

I'm going to get my cameras back out in the next week or so to see if I can find him post-gun season. I've never had any luck getting pictures of bucks late in the year though. I don't know what to look for besides a pile of golden nuggets, and we're still planning on hunting some at this point.

We've still got in about 300 acres of beans, and the neighbors have in.......I dunno.....7 or 800 acres of corn. I've got my 'trail' trail cam on the edge of the bean field where I killed my deer this week. The scrape cam is in the middle of a wood lot we usually leave for doing a drive in the late season. We ended up killing enough deer we didn't need to do a drive this year.

The trails on the edge of the bean field are just CRAZY. My brother was up there on opening day and said there wasn't much traffic through there. :D So, he never went back. Its almost a mile walk back in there from the road. 10 days later, I reported back to the same place and hunted for 30 minutes before filling my tags. :rof2:

man i hope you get that monster thats a nice dang buck:cheers:
Very nice Parker,

I`ve taken some nice bucks in Crawford CO, but it drives me crazy the nub tines the`ve had, always have to break out the tape they are always so close to 1in.
Hurry up & put that boy down already, would ya?

Sure hope ya find him on camera. If you can get some pics of him now, you can pattern him for the kill. They should be returning to a feeding pattern real soon I'd think.
[rquote=1488919&tid=103895&author=Parker] modeerhunter, I got my cameras back out. I put one of them on a scrape that is still active, and another one on a very heavy trail. I'll probably leave them alone for 2 weeks, maybe 3 and see what we come up with!

Good deal. I've got one out on the end pf our bean field also, it's been getting hammered. I might try to get a couple more out this weekend, I took them all out of the woods for gun season, would have had more pics of people and vehicles than deer.
